Catskill Maison
Built in 1782 as a wayward inn, it housed New York Governor Washington Hunt as a youngster, and
later became the farmhouse for the well known Lawrence dairy farm well into the 1960's. A later
incarnation of this historic Upstate New York landmark was a private residence.
In 2004, Josephine Moffett and her daughter, Lea, envisioned converting it into a luxury Bed and
Breakfast. Their dream became a reality with the opening of Catskill Maison, nestled in the serene
Catskill Mountains.
Lea and Josephine would like to extend a warm welcome to all their guests and look forward to
making their stays memorable ones.
